Taco (tah-koh): Tortillas folded and fried crisp filled with beef, lettuce and cheese.
Chile Con Carne (chee-lay cone car-ney): Pieces of steak, chili peppers, onions, tomatoes and spices simmered together.
Guacamole (wah-kah-moh-ley): Avocado salad.
Chalupas (chah-loo-pahs): Flat tortillas with beans, sprinkled cheese topped with guacamole salad.
Tostadas (tohs-tah-dos): Tortillas cut and deep fried.
